I called at 8am as a new customer and in just a few hours Ralph was at my home.
He's easy to communicate with and extremely honest!!! In just a short amount of time he diagnosed and fixed the problem, I had water again. He's very knowledgeable about wells and takes the time to explain everything. I will definitely use him again and would highly recommend him.

Bob called Ralph and he came out the same day to look at the relief valve that was dripping. Ralph knew right away what the problem was and replaced the pressure switch and relief valve, which was clogged with mud. He completed the work in less than an hour and left the area clean and tidy. The price was very reasonable for the work that needed to be done. Highly recommend Ralph for all your well and pump needs.

Stressed and worried was an understatement. Waking up at 4am to no water on Christmas eve was a total nightmare! After contacting multiple people, Ralph was the only one to respond promptly and didn't hesitate to help us out. Within an hour of speaking to me, he was already at my door tools and all to get my home back running with water. And that's exactly what he did, a few hours later and a new well pump water was flowing through my home again! A few days after he came back to finish up the job to remove and install a brand new tank. Throughout the whole process he was super informative, answered any and all questions I had. Professional, down to earth, and an all around great guy. Definitely using him for any future needs.

Housatonic Valley Well Pump Services, were incredible! We needed to have our pump and tank replaced and Ralph was patient in explaining why everything was needed and how it worked. Ralph was incredibly knowledgable and was able to share and explain all the steps. Our water report said we had some bacteria so he 'shocked' our well and thoroughly explained what was happening and how to purge the pipes. We also decided to install a UV filter and he explained exactly what was involved and how often it should be serviced. Ralph also explained to us how our well water system worked and made it super easy to understand. 100% recommend them and will be using their service for years to come!

Water from well works great, if the pump, the pressure tank and the water filtration systems are all functioning properly. Recently one night, my wife discovered that our water is gone, the entire house has no water. I had to scramble and google around to figure out who should I call and not getting charged with a ridiculous amount of service charges. By luck, I found Ralph, who just as all the reviews indicated, started diagnosing issues for me over the phone, through text and pictures, without charging me a penny. We figured out a short-term solution to restore the water inside the house, again, without charge. Afterwards, we went back and forth discussing longer term solutions and different quotations. In about a week, Ralph came to our house and installed new pressure tank, new filter, and a new water softener system. He also found a leak in our pipe system and called a plumber company to have it fixed on the same day. I have to say this is one of the best experiences that I've had dealing with contractors, and I highly recommend Ralph and Housatonic Valley Well Pump services for your water need.

I called HVWPS and spoke with Ralph (the owner) to come out and service the well pump on our newly purchased first home. During our service, I had asked about recommendations for a new water softener because ours was very dated and I wasn't sure how well it was even working.

Without hesitation, Ralph ran through multiple water tests and helped me discover additional issues (mainly iron) in our water and thoroughly explained how this would effect us down the road.

After hearing his feedback and inquiring about how much these new systems would cost, Ralph got back to me that same night with a very fair quote.

Two days later, Ralph and his associate were at my house to install a new iron breaker and water softener, and did so in a very timely and organized manner. Once finished, both answered any and all questions I had, and helped walk me through the ins and outs of the new system. I would highly recommend Ralph, his team, their services, etc. and I look forward to working with them in the future.

As new homeowners, we did not expect to lose water in our house. Let alone, the week everyone tested positive for COVID. Ralph, without hesitation, came to our house (using great precautions) when other companies would not come out. It turned into a much bigger problem than anticipated, involving our well collapsing. Ralph went above and beyond to make sure he could restore water, during a rain storm, and came back to replace our water tank and neutralizer. Having water is nothing short of a miracle, and our family owes it all to Ralph. Thank you just does not seem like enough!

My well pump went and they came right out. I met Ralph and he is a great guy and easy to deal with. Extremely knowledgeable and tried to test everything to make absolute sure I needed a new pump. I told him I like great pressure and he gave me a newer technology continuous pressure pump that's the bomb. Keeps at 70psi no matter how many things are on at once. I love it and thanks Ralph.

Ralph, the owner, is one of the most responsive professionals I've dealt with. From our initial call on Tuesday to the full resolution on Thursday, we now have the cleanest water since first moving into our home 3 years ago.

We had serious issues with PH imbalance, extremely heavy iron and sulfur smell in the summer time. Ralph offered numerous approaches to resolving those issues, with associated costs and benefits for each. We thoroughly understood the problem and were able to make an educated decision using his guidance. Will definitely be using his services in the future and simply can't recommend him enough!

Ralph drove to our house in a snow storm on a Sunday to inspect why we lost water pressure in our home and determined within minutes the issue. He and his helper worked quickly and efficiently to replace our well pump the next morning. They were extremely clean, courteous and professional, explaining to us the nature of the problem, proper maintenance and how to further improve the efficiency of the water in our home. Ralph went above and beyond expectations when having to chlorinate and install a uv system for my well. I had the unfortunate experience to try two other companies before him that did not know what they were doing, and wasted so much money- wish I went with him at first! His price was more than fair, he was thorough in his service and explanation and completed the job in the most professional manor with nothing but kindness and patience. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I called due to me thinking I needed a new water tank. I used them once before and had a great experience so I texted Housatonic Valley and they came out the next day while I was at work. I left them the key. I got a call in the morning of him saying that I did not in fact need a new tank! They or anyone for that matter could have just put in a new tank and taken me for a lot of money. These guys are trust worthy and do good work. Highly recommend

Ralph was great! Very professional, nice and informative. He walked me through the well water inspection process and explained everything in such a manner that I could understand as a first time home owner. He gave me some tips on what to look for when things aren't working properly. He took his time to make sure to check everything. Pricing was affordable as well. I would recommend him and go back for services if needed.

We called for an inspection of our well to make sure everything is working properly. Ralph, was able to thoroughly explain what the current state of our well system was. Fortunately everything was fine. He did provide a couple of suggestions to get ahead of any major problems down the road. We ended up taking one of his suggestions and replacing the pressure tank that was showing signs of wear.
He came back the next day and installed the new tank. He also cleaned up some of the piping that was previously done to make it a more efficient system.
